Mission Control Centers (Canada, France, Japan, Russia, United States...) use EMS SATCOM's Operation Control Consoles to process distress beacon information and distributes it to rescue coordination centers (RCC). These consoles are commissioned according to COSPAS-SARSAT standards for both national and Nodal MCCs.
The EMS SATCOM Operation Control Console automatically resolves information conflicts by combining incoming data with archived data, data in local MCC beacon databases and data from international MCC systems. It formats and routes messages to RCCs in the most appropriate methods - meeting and surpassing the requirements of COSPAS-SARSAT and nation specific standards.
Components
